HOLIDAY honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dear Students:
Welcome again to another 'deep dive' into the Ocean of Knowledge!
Here in Classroom 16 we don't just "swim" at 'The Surface' in our learning, but instead we go deep into the depths, to fully experience a vast exploration in all areas of our learning.
We don't want just "surface" understanding, but we work hard, so that we can become great by exploring and making our own, a vast view of the ocean of knowledge!
Get ready, and then ...Let's jump!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
How is 'the swimming,' the deep exploring, in 'The Ocean of Knowledge' going?
Life is indeed like a vast unexplored ocean with each day providing new opportunities for learning, many new ideas for experiencing new thoughts and feelings and the Joy of Understanding.
Creativity is always an opportunity too, to create from within us something wonderful to share with others.
Let's have a great "swim" today and the rest of this week!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
Would you have the courage to go out upon a large sailing ship aiming at EXPLORING this amazing Planet Earth, to be gone for a year from your family and comfortable home with the aim of experiencing adventures, new cultures, and meet new people that could become lifelong friends?
Who would you invite to go with you? What supplies and preparations would you have to think about first?
Everyday when you awake anew to come to our Classroom 16! for the Joy and Discipline of learning is like unto being on such a sailing adventure around the world, for we study our Earth and we are constantly setting aims to be prepared for the next level of knowledge and exploration.
Have a happy journey today!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
I am anxious to hear of your adventures (Thursday night's homework stories). Your Writing is indeed like riding on a great ship of learning and exploring!
Today is certainly another adventure of our own, TOGETHER, in our Great Classroom 16!
Enjoy one another's company in the realm of learning, ...not in immature nonsense.
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
